African Infrastructure Elites: People and Projects invites organisations from Africa’s power, water, energy, and transport infrastructure sectors to nominate outstanding leaders and projects for its 2026/2027 edition, and opens opportunities for brands to participate through advertising, advertorial, and editorial partnerships.
Brought to you by ESI Africa, part of VUKA Group, African Infrastructure Elites is entering its 11th edition with an expanded focus spanning power, energy, water, sanitation, transport, smart and digital solutions and infrastructure investment. The 2026/2027 theme, Access and Affordability Empower Security for All, reflects the role reliable infrastructure plays in economic growth, resilience and sustainable development across the continent.
African Infrastructure Elites: Projects and People nominations
At the same time, nominations are open for leaders, rising stars and projects demonstrating measurable achievement, innovation and impact. Categories cover leadership and rising stars, grid-tied and off-grid projects, smart and digital solutions, clean transport, energy at mines, water and sanitation and finance and investment. Nominations close 2 October 2026.
Submissions are independently reviewed by the African Infrastructure Elites Advisory Board, comprising:

Selected projects and leaders will be featured in the African Infrastructure Elites 2026/2027 publication, with further exposure through ESI Africa’s digital and multimedia platforms, webinars, social media and industry events.
