CIGRE feedback session to bring Paris insights to SA

CIGRE Southern Africa will present key technical insights from the 2026 Paris Session at a feedback event in September.

Key technical findings from the 2026 CIGRE Paris Session will be presented to the Southern African power sector at a two-day feedback session in Kempton Park on September 29 and 30.

According to CIGRE Southern Africa, returning study committee representatives will report on key findings, special report discussions and technical highlights from the Paris session, which takes place from August 23 to 28.

The feedback programme will span the work of CIGRE’s 16 study committees, including digitalisation, the energy transition and global best practice, the organisation says.

The event will take place at the Birchwood Hotel and OR Tambo Conference Centre. Continuing professional development points will be available.
