The trade-offs shaping South Africa’s next energy procurement phase

Future energy procurement will need to balance large-scale projects that deliver cost efficiencies with smaller industrial projects that drive local economic growth and industrialisation, according to Crescent Mushwana, Head of Technical at the Independent Power Producer (IPP) Office.
