On February 5, Minister of Electricity and Energy Kgosientsho Ramokgopa told Parliament’s Portfolio Committee on Electricity and Energy that Eskom Green, a newly established renewable generation entity within Eskom, is expected to play an increasingly prominent role in renewable energy development over the next 24 to 36 months.
