Eastern Cape facility among first to adopt solar-powered high-mast lighting

The Mdantsane wastewater treatment works in the Eastern Cape has implemented a solar-powered, high-mast lighting system to improve site illumination and reduce reliance on the national grid.

According to BEKA Schréder, which supplied and installed the system, it is the first wastewater treatment facility in the province to be illuminated
entirely by solar lighting.
