Billions pledged but JET funding slow to flow

International pledges to support South Africa’s R1,5 trillion Just Energy Transition (JET) have grown from US$8,5 billion (R155 billion) to US$13,9 billion (R253 billion) since the launch of the JET Investment Plan (IP) in 2023.
