Steinmüller Africa’s Technical Training Academy recently participated in a career day at Middelburg Technical High School in Mpumalanga. The Executive Group Manager: Human Capital Management, Karin Kaempffer, addressed the youth and provided them with valuable information and insight by explaining what the different career choices in a corporate environment entails, and how important it is to make the correct subject selections such as maths and science when perusing a technical career.
Danie Eksteen and his technical team gave learners demonstrations on welding processes and basic boilermaker applications. The demonstrations at Middelburg Technical High School may prove beneficial for the learners as the Mpumalanga town has an industrial sector booming with opportunities for the expertise shared by the company on its numerous mining and industrial sector plants.
