IRP 2025: A technical look at South Africa’s proposed future grid

Published on October 28, the Integrated Resource Plan 2025 (IRP 2025) is the latest in the Department of Electricity and Energy’s long-term electricity planning documents. The plan maps the country’s future generation requirements to 2050.
