Eskom has issued a warning about false job advertisements circulating on social media, particularly those claiming positions are available at its power stations.
“These false claims not only disrupt operations but also constitute a criminal offence,” the utility said.
All recruitment is conducted through appointed contractors and verified community stakeholders, Eskom said. “When legitimate opportunities arise, Eskom and its contractors will call a stakeholder meeting to inform affected communities,” the utility said.
