Eskom clears major regulatory hurdle to build new nuclear plant

Eskom has moved a step closer to building a new nuclear power station at Duynefontein in the Western Cape after Minister of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment Dion George dismissed appeals against the project’s environmental authorisation.
