Cigre's Virtual Centennial Session will be held on 23 August 2021 from 12 noon Central European Summer Time, which is the same as South African Standard Time.
The Session will take the form of a global workshop, focusing on how hydrogen could support the energy transition.
Hydrogen can be used as a fuel, as storage or as a carrier and has many possible CO2 emission-free applications in electricity supply and across industry, transport, power and buildings sectors.
This workshop considers strategies and pilot projects to realise the potential that green hydrogen offers in moving to carbon neutrality and zero pollution, in accordance with the Paris Agreement.
